Max Leon Fuller

Max enlisted in the Australian Regular Army at Marrickville, New South Wales on 23 August 1950 and allotted Army number 2/3994.

 

Max stated on enlistment:
He was born at Kempsey, New South Wales on the 30 July 1932,
His next of kin was his father, Francis John Fuller of Trevallyn Post Office via Patterson, New South Wales.
Note; On the 29th October 1955, Max changed his next of kin to his wife, Merle Fuller of Morton Road, Burwood Victoria.

Max served with the following units:

  • 1st Australian Recruit Training Centre

  • 1st Australian Armoured Regiment

  • 4th Royal Australian Regiment

  • 1st Battalion Royal Australian Regiment

  • 3rd Battalion Royal Australian Regiment

Max embarked at Sydney, New South Wales for service overseas with the 3rd Royal Australian Regiment per 'NEW AUSTRALIA' on 20 March 1954 for active service​ in both Korea and Japan from 20 March 1954 to 20 June 1955 with the following units:

  • 1st Battalion Royal Australian Regiment

  • 3rd Battalion Royal Australian Regiment

 

​Max disembarked in Sydney, New South Wales from Japan on the 20 June 1955

​

Max achieved the rank of Private during his service life.

​

Max was discharge on the 22 August 1956.
