Osman John Hudson

Osman John Hudson (1897–1961) was an Australian soldier and the younger brother of Justice Wilson Hudson, a notable figure in New South Wales.​

​

Born in 1897 at Hickey's Creek, New South Wales, Osman was the son of John George Frederick Hudson and Islet Maud Hudson. He was part of a large family that included siblings such as Justice Wilson Hudson and Elizabeth Mary Hudson Fuller. ​

​

During World War I, Osman enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force and served as a Private in the 55th Battalion. His service number was 4823. After the war, he returned to Kempsey, where he lived until his passing.

​

Osman married Muriel Ellen Hudson (née Wilson) in 1920. They had three children: Mary Elizabeth Hudson (later Korn), Lloyd John Hudson, and Kevin Donald Hudson. 

​

Osman John Hudson passed away on July 16, 1961, at the age of 64. He was interred at Kempsey East Cemetery, New South Wales.
